The detachable seat is designed to reduce the number of transfers for the user.
It enables the care staff to take the seat to the user’s room, where the transfer can be carried out there, then wheeled to the bathroom and simply lifted into the Assisted Bath.
As the transfer can be done outside of the room, it is a good option for smaller bathrooms with limited space.
How does it work?
The seat and transporter are wheeled into position. As the Bath arm starts to lift using the handset, a Simple-to-Use mechanism at the back of the seat is manually lifted to release the transporter from the seat. Once the user is lifted into the bath, the transporter can be wheeled out of the way.
Once the user has finished their bath, the transporter is brought back into position ready to receive the seat
