Previously equipped with a wall-mounted stretcher, the client now required more extensive water immersion for both hygiene and therapeutic benefits. To address these needs, we began with a thorough survey alongside the OT to ascertain critical information and develop suitable options.

The Duporth Hi-Lo Only bath, in its most compact form, emerged as the ideal solution, complemented by a retractable over-bath stretcher designed for tight spaces. Despite the room’s limited dimensions and the challenge of rerouting existing plumbing, our team successfully integrated the necessary components, synergizing them with a ceiling track hoist. This combination not only enhanced hydrotherapy aspects but also made drying and changing considerably more manageable thanks to the custom-fit, one-piece over-bath stretcher. An excellent fit for small bathrooms that cannot accommodate separate changing tables, our bespoke solutions are tailored to everyone’s specific requirements.
With funding secured, we efficiently dismantled outdated fixtures, modified the pipework, and installed the new system. We concluded with a comprehensive handover to the care team, who eagerly anticipated improving the user’s well-being offered by the new setup.
