Custom Assisted Bathing Solutions, Ready to go
In an era of on-demand delivery, Protec Baths realised the importance of providing turnkey solutions to ensure every care home is catered to fast and efficiently. More than this, we understand the significance of continuing to offer patients the best care. With over 30 years of experience in the care sector, our assisted baths service has been meticulously established to ensure high-quality baths, the advantage of customisations, simple installation, ongoing servicing and maintenance, and ease of use!
Our assisted baths are conveniently crafted right here in Britain, making our promise to deliver punctually easy. This strategy also ensures we have easy access to parts if maintenance is required and gives us the ability to improve and enhance our assisted bath designs (considering feedback from our clients, their staff, and patients).
Protec Baths provides tailored assisted baths to facilitate your care home’s level of care, ensuring functionality and comfort for both staff and patients.

Our Assisted Bath Range, Ready to Go!
Assisted bathing is essential for individuals who can no longer bathe independently due to mobility or health issues. It helps maintain hygiene, prevent infections, improve circulation, and relieve muscle stiffness. Additionally, it allows caregivers to monitor physical and mental well-being, identify any health concerns that may require further attention, and assist carers with providing a comfortable, dignified bathing experience.
Suitable for providing bathing therapy for group 1-5 patients, our range of customisable baths are split into the following categories:
- The Charlestown (Available in 5 sizes, the powered seat gives those with greater mobility access to the bath)
- The Duporth (Our most popular bath, the variable height bath, is available in 5 different sizes and a range of customisations. The powered seat gives those with greater mobility access to the bath.)
- The Duporth Hi Lo Only (Available in 5 different sizes, the Hi-Lo only is best used in conjunction with ceiling track hoists. In-bath stretchers and other accessories can be used to support the user whilst bathing)
- The Polkerris (This bath is designed to accommodate large or bariatric bathers who may have difficulty using standard-size tubs. It is available in 2 sizes and can take up to 32 Stones.)
